Entertainment | ESports is Finally Breaking Ground in the Country

I remember the days when parents scold their kids when they are playing computer games.  Now the times have changed.  We now have universities offering athletic scholarships for gaming, and a new sport has emerged, called eSports.  With the recent introduction of The New Blood Championships and the Galaxy Battles happening here in the Philippines, we now have TNC Philippine Holdings Inc.

A company that will ensure the growth of the eSport industry in the Phlipines.  Headed by Eric Redulfin, founding chairman and Lester Wong, CEO, the company shall focus heavily on developing eSports scenarios in the country by targeting multiple gaming platforms to strengthen the sport and will result to Filipino gamers for global domination err, worldwide competitions.

Through their efforts, they hope they can inspire new players, which they have already been doing before when they established the TNC Pro Team.  Now with the company in place, now there is an avenue for which aspiring new players will join the team.

They started with just a Dota 2 team, now the company maintains teams dedicated to League of Legends, CSGO, Crossfire, Hearthstone and Dota 2's girls team, the TNC Amazons.

The Grand Opening of the company was held last October 10 in Cubao Quezon City, the event was graced by the presence of big companies like PT&T, PhilTeq, Nvidia, Predator, View Paker, Phenominal Solutions, Highgrounds Cafe, Tier One and representatives from the Games and Amusement Board (GAB), the media and other visitors.

During said event, aside from the introduction of the TNC Pro Team, they showed to the media the other teams in their fold.

For now, you may get game or event updates on the TNC Pro Team facebook page.
