About Town | Raising the Bar at the Food and Drinks Asia 2018

Running for two decades now, twenty two years to be exact, the Food and Drinks Asia 2018 continues to provide food entrepreneurs a diversified showcase of food and beverage products for their options to venture into various segments of the industry.  From Distribution, franchising, repackaging, for local production and food service ventures, the expo has it all for visiting guests. 

To open up the expo, Senator Cynthia Villar along with important guests from the local government agencies and representatives from embassies, professional groups cut the ribbon signalling the start of the Food and Drinks Asia 2018.  The VIP group then toured the booths and were wowed by the wide array of food and services showcased within the expo.

For this year, the expo cooperates with significant associations related or complementing the food and beverage industry.  The Chamber of Herbal Industries of the Philippines (CHIPI) was highlighted and showcased their products and services under the banner of Natural Health and Organic Asia 2018.  Another group showcased was the Food Caterer's Association of the Philippines (FCAP) who held their General Assembly on the event's first day.

The expo likewise also hosted a number of activities such as "The Annual Chefs' Showdown: A Culinary Cook-off", Flair and Cocktails Preliminaries, Food and Drinks Cooking Challenge 2018 and various product demos and seminars onstage and in breakout rooms of the World Trade Center.
