Watami

Watami has branched out to different areas already.  We first ate in this restaurant at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.  Our initial impression then was not to eat here as the place looks expensive.  Only to find out later that the menu prices was affordable and tasty too.

We again saw Watami at the Shangrila Mall in Mandaluyong at their new mall wing.  Its a bit far off from the usual route so you better ask the guards where they are located.

The place still looks great like the one in the Mall of Asia, but it feels like a little bigger.  Staff was courteous as ever and service is similarly fast.  We found new items in the menu or maybe we didn't bother looked the first time we were in a Watami restaurant.

We found their premium set meal nicely plated and priced as well.  Taste again was great but not expensive.  What sets this restaurant apart is that they have yakitori being served.  Not most japanese restaurants have this and we liked it.  They also have big tables available so a group of 6 or 8 will be accommodated nicely.

Check out their menu on this page and head out to Watami if you have the urge to eat japanese.
