Amidst all the anime, manga, toy, comic, cosplay conventions in the Philippines, we have one more coming up next year. Lets welcome Comic Con Asia 2018. Its their first year but they promised to be different from the others.
"What makes Comic Con Asia Different is the great balance between international an asian content" says Pauline Laping, the Event Producer of PSL Entertainment Production, who is also the CEO and Director of Miss Global Philippines. She is partnered here with Nam Entertainment Group, a full service media company catering to international event productions from Vietnam.
The event will be showcase four zones or areas, like Manga and Anime, Comics, Toys and Gaming, and finally Movies. Among these areas, a number of vendors, sellers, galleries and artists will be in attendance as well.
As of the media launch or kick off, they don't have a list yet of celebrities who will be gracing the event in March 24 and 25 next year at the SMX Convention Center in the Mall of Asia Pasay City. Just one celebrity is sure to attend, the Comic Con Asia 2018 Ambassador, Senator Manny Pacquio. He was also a superhero in the movie "Wapakman".
