About Town | 26th PIEP National Convention

The Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) held its 26th PIEP National Convention last November 8, 2017 at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City.

The event focuses on their slogan "Sustainable Cities and Communities for the Urban Century", to address the country's increasing urbanization future problems such as heavily concrete places may be a threat to natural disasters - typhoons and earthquakes. The worsening of traffic due to flooding and improper of garbage disposal. The less green spaces may lead us or family to have problems related to health and sanitation.

The invited speakers provided on how thoughtful planning can benefit the people and the country as a whole.
