Kung Hei Fat Choi!!! Happy Chinese New Year!!! For the coming year of the Dog, Chinatown Lai Lai Hotel offered lots of activities on the eve of the new year.
On the corner of Ongpin, they prepared a stage and had lots of competitions to mark the festivity. They first start off by the blessings of a Taoist monk, hoping to start the year right. Then they had singing contests and lion dance competitions starting from sundown till midnight.
They also invited some actors to don costumes and celebrities to host the program outside bringing joy to the audience watching. The crowd grew to a point that vehicles had to slow down to pass through. The drivers were understanding as they knew it was the new year and they expect such activities at every corner of chinatown.
Now Chinatown Lai Lai Hotel aside from having great rooms, they have a buffet restaurant at the basement offering authentic chinese dishes. So if you are a fan, then head on to this buffet. During this event, the buffet had a promo, only Php299 per person (For lunch and dinner) and that it includes the drinks as well. As per their poster, it didn't specify how long the promo will last so better inquire from them how long they will have it on promo.
