Food | Gerry's Grill

We visited Gerry's Grill near Timog Avenue, close to ABS CBN almost around midnight.  Most restaurants in the area closed early and I wondered why.  It was a saturday night and most people are still out.

Here we ordered the Inihaw na liempo and the pinakbet.  Their servings are good for two people they say but the liempo of 2 pieces could easily be eaten by one person.  Their pinakbet was of large serving and can be even served to three persons.

The place is huge and the number of waiters they have that night was not enough to cater to the customers.  Although it was a slow night, not much customers, the place was so large that customers seated in opposite directions could not be handled as fast as they could.

Food taste was typical of a Gerry's Grill restaurant and the same for most parts.  Funny thing is, their taste is almost similar to their competitor across the street.  That made me wonder if they are the same company or worse, had the same kitchen (of course not).

Honestly I won't consider this as a restaurant I go to eat hearty foods, as I consider them as an inuman site.  Their food tastes better if you pair it with beer, as per my experience.
For this visit, with no other similar restaurant open, their food hit the mark for me.  Even with no beer, hunger solved.
