Travel PH | Where to Stay in Kalibo - EG Condotel
On our second stop of the Panay Island Trip, we went to Kalibo and stayed at the EG Condotel. Located in Magdalena, its just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of town proper, staying here is a truly quiet and restful stay indeed.
Since we came in through Caticlan, we were in a UV express van going into Kalibo. From its terminal, simply take a tricycle (only Php8) and tell them to take you to EG Condotel. The place is famous as they also have an events place for which parties and events are celebrated.
They offer clean rooms and great amenities. Beds are comfy and huge, toilets are with hot showers, refrigerators are available for your convenience. What stood out for this writer are the cable channels offered as entertainment. I'm a movie buff so having HBO and some premium HD channels are available. Aircondition is so cold and that with HBO, I was almost tempted to simply stay in my room and not wander around Kalibo.
Wait, I'm not finished yet with their amenities. On the top floor, they have a gym, every floor has a good view of Kalibo from its veranda, and the best part, they have an semi indoor pool. Yes you read it right, a pool.
Wait there's more. They also have a travel agency herein so if you plan to move on to another adventure, simply ask them about their travel offerings.
