About Town | Dalian Trains Now Being Used By the Public

Finally after two years of validation, we got to use the 3 trains delivered by Dalian, a chinese made train company.  Riddled with questions and bashers, the trains were under the scrutiny of MRT and the Government in terms of reliability and safety.

As per DOTr (Depeartment of Transportation), each trains must undergo 1,000 kilometers of testing before being used and opened to the public.  As of this writing, only 3 trains passed this test and finally was used for the riding public.

Many more Dalian trains are undergoing testing and we hope to see them out soon for service.  This additional trains will surely help with MRT operations and will be a big boost for the riding public.
