Mober, first on-demand logistics app from PH, launched.

After its introduction 2 years ago, the on-demand delivery services app Mober is officially launched on November 20, 2017 by Filipino tech startup Mober Technology.

The app, fittingly called Mober as a play on the word mover, is the first of its kind from Filipinos.

It provides an instant and on-demand platform for same-day delivery solutions at affordable prices. With reliable pick-up and delivery options, the company seeks to offer tailored services to address its clients’ specific needs.

Mober can be used for a variety of purposes. These include making deliveries for small to medium enterprises, delivering goods to consumers, and providing start-up businesses with safe and cost-effective logistical services.

Non-business clients can use the app for lipat-bahay or transport of home furniture and appliances, for making bulk shipments, and even as pet shuttle transport.

Good for the business

Mober Technology currently services clients across Metro Manila, including big brands like SM Appliances and Adidas. Two hundred previously underutilized vans are now doing the deliveries in the Metro and up to Bulacan and Laguna.

Eric Ortiz, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, believes that using Mober will be beneficial to any business. “Our services can help them cut expenses on manpower and trucking,” he says.

According to him, Mober provides better convenience and even better services. “Investing on new delivery trucks costs a lot, adds to the traffic, and doesn’t guarantee efficiency,” the COO adds.

Promising and delivering convenience

Mober is currently available for download on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, and people can also book through their website and hotline number. This lets the company make delivery convenience more accessible to Filipinos.

Aside from affordable and transparent pricing, clients also get to track their shipment via GPS by showing the driver’s spot in real time. They may contact the van drivers via phone or SMS for better coordination.
