When you are in Jose Panganiban in Camarines Norte, you might want to go on top of the world. Not the highest but definitely captivating. This place is called Turayog Place.
Just 15 minutes drive off Jose Panganiban proper, this place offers you an overview of Jose Panganiban. A municipality of Camarines Norte that has been known for gold mining, and now for having beautiful virgin beaches and islands.
Turayog Place is situated at a high place in Jose Panganiban and is devoid still of high buildings thus it offers a rough patch of green on top of a ridge or hill. It has two open fire pits for bonfires and they are accommodating overnights via tent on its peak. There's no comfort rooms on top so be ready to go rough.
On its foot, Turayog place offers a big pool for swimming. Its surrounded by vegetation so dipping in this will offer a cool respite from the hot summer weather here in the Philippines. So you can check out the view above, and dip at the pool below.
To reach this place, you can take Superlines or DLTB from Cubao to Daet (Via Jose Panganiban). The bus passing through them is seldom so better be prepared to go to Daet. From Daet you may take a bus or jeep going back to Jose Panganiban.
From the bus terminal, you can take a monster jeep to take you to Turayog Place. There's a habal habal you can hire to and back.
