Travel | Roxas Midtown Hotel in Roxas City
I was here in Roxas City, Capiz last year for 6 hours only, how to improve on this? Come back in 2019 with the missus and stay for 3 Days and 2 Nights.
After travelling from Altavas, Aklan where we experienced a fiesta, we arrived in Roxas City in the Evening. We took a tricycle from the Terminal and paid special Php50 (Good for 5 pax) to Roxas Midtown Hotel. I was glad the driver knew the hotel, this must be a very popular hotel, glad this was so.
It's a quaint little hotel from the outside but was warm and inviting inside. Lobby was clean, attached to their restaurant, with stairs beside the concierge, the hotel was functional to our taste. Our reservations were in order so off we went to our hotel on the second floor.
Our room had nice amenities that is not the usual for hotels in the area. We had a personal fridge, an LED TV with lots of entertaining channels, a table with two chairs, a credenza. The normal ones were the soft beds with two pillows each, a thick blanket, hot and cold showers, and two sets of toiletries.
What we liked about the hotel were 1) courteous staff 2) great airconditioning 3) TV with lots of channels 4) strong WIFI 5) nice comfy beds 6) near a convenience store and 7) great breakfast.
Staff were always attentive to our needs so we had a great stay here. I love the airconditioning here. The window unit in our room was relatively new and judging from the cool air it generates, was well maintained, giving us good sleep. In times when we were inside the room, there was lots of movie channels on TV that clearly one will be always entertained. Travel bloggers would love this place as well, with strong and fast WIFI, we can update our websites, blogs, and social media posts. More work means more coverage and more engagements. Beds were comfy and soft, nice sleep there, and its near a convenience store. If you need food in the middle of the night, one can make a short walk to the corner and there is a 7-11 for you. Lastly, the breakfast. Although a bit limited in choices, the breakfast meals were something we looked for in the mornings.
Our stay in Roxas City was made more special by this hotel and we thank them for it. The only suggestion I made with them was to have a business center made available for guests.
